What animal is the tallest in the world?

The magnificent creature that holds the title of the world's tallest animal is a true marvel of evolution. This impressive stature is largely due to their exceptionally long legs, which alone can measure about six feet, and their equally remarkable necks. The giraffe's iconic long neck can extend over six feet in length, yet it contains the same number of vertebrae as a human neck—just seven. The difference lies in the individual vertebrae, each of which can be over ten inches long in a giraffe. This incredible height serves several vital purposes in their natural habitat.
