The remote Orkney Islands of Scotland are home to a truly unique mode of transportation: the world's shortest scheduled commercial flight. Connecting the islands of Westray and Papa Westray, this aerial journey typically clocks in at around 90 seconds, though under ideal conditions, the actual time spent airborne can be as brief as 53 seconds.
