What is the tallest type of tree in the world?

Coast redwoods can grow over 380 feet tall, taller than the Statue of Liberty. They are found along the coast of northern California and southern Oregon. The tallest known living tree, named Hyperion, stands at 380.3 feet and is estimated to be about 600 years old.
