In this classic 1959 comedy from director Billy Wilder, musicians Joe and Jerry find themselves on the run after witnessing a mob hit. To escape the gangsters, the two men, played by Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon respectively, disguise themselves as women named Josephine and Daphne and join an all-female band heading to Florida for a gig.

The farce escalates when Joe (Curtis) falls for the band's troubled but charming singer, Sugar Kane, played by Marilyn Monroe. To win her over, he adopts yet another disguise as a shy, wealthy oil heir. At the same time, Jerry (Lemmon), in his persona as Daphne, finds himself relentlessly pursued by an eccentric and genuinely smitten millionaire, Osgood Fielding III.
