Which long-running American late-night talk and satirical news program has been hosted by Craig Kilborn, Jon Stewart and Trevor Noah?

The Daily Show (Review) is the seminal American late-night talk and satirical news program renowned for its sharp wit and insightful commentary on current events. It first premiered in 1996 with Craig Kilborn as host, but it was Jon Stewart who truly transformed the show into a cultural and political force during his tenure from 1999 to 2015. Under Stewart, the program shifted its focus from pop culture to in-depth political and news satire, earning critical acclaim and a dedicated viewership, particularly among younger audiences.

Following Jon Stewart's departure in 2015, Trevor Noah took the helm, bringing his unique global perspective and comedic style to the show until December 2022. Noah navigated the program through significant political and social changes, continuing its legacy of incisive satire. After Noah's exit, "The Daily Show" embraced a rotating lineup of guest hosts for over a year, featuring various comedians and correspondents.

In a significant development, Jon Stewart returned in February 2024 to host the Monday editions of the show, with a rotating cast of correspondents handling hosting duties for the remainder of the week. This innovative format ensures that the show continues to offer diverse voices and perspectives while maintaining its signature blend of humor and critical analysis, solidifying its place as a long-running and influential staple in late-night television.
